Procurement Manager Zimbabwe The Job Reporting To MD Supervision of Procurement and Distribution department staff Interacts With Operations and Head of various departments. Job Description 1. Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers. 2. Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements. 3. Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers. 4. Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing. 5. Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production. 6. Process purchase orders to acquire goods. 7. Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favourable to the company. 8. Attend meetings with the operations team, engineering team, vendors and suppliers. Candidate Specification Experience Ten (10) years in similar role and start up experience a must Education Level Bachelor of Supply Management Degree Qualifications Masters in Supply Chain Management / CIPS an added advantage Software Pastel evolution/Excel/SAGE 1000 Knowledge of Mining experience a must and Construction experience an added advantage. Ability to Work accurately under pressure and meet set deadlines.
