Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager in our Finance & Accounting practice, you will lead complex
financial projects, providing high-quality financial analyses and due diligence support for
M&A transactions. You will work closely with clients to deliver actionable insights that
shape strategic decisions, drive financial performance, and assess potential
acquisitions. Your responsibilities will encompass leadership in FP&A, quality of
earnings assessments, and project management in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the execution of FP&A and due diligence projects, including quality of
earnings (QoE) assessments, cash flow analysis, and revenue/profitability
evaluation.
● Provide senior-level guidance and strategic insights to clients on financial
performance drivers, risk factors, and value-enhancing opportunities.
● Oversee the development of sophisticated financial models, reports, and
presentations to support client decision-making in M&A and strategic planning.
● Mentor and manage a team of analysts, fostering skill development in FP&A,
financial modeling, and transaction advisory.
● Engage with clients’ executive teams and stakeholders, facilitating discussions
and delivering recommendations based on comprehensive financial analysis.
● Collaborate with cross-functional advisory teams, including legal, tax, and
operational consultants, to provide holistic due diligence and integration support.
● Conduct competitive analysis and market research to aid valuation, strategic
positioning, and post-acquisition planning.
● Ensure rigorous attention to detail in financial documentation, upholding high
standards in QoE assessments and M&A deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related
field; MBA, CPA, or CFA certification strongly preferred.
● Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in finance consulting, investment banking,
or a corporate FP&A function with direct exposure to M&A due diligence,
including 3+ years in a managerial role.
● Technical Skills:
o Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation
methodologies.
o Expertise in Excel, with working knowledge of financial planning systems
(e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and/or ERP systems.
● Strategic Insight: Ability to see the bigger picture while delving into detailed
analysis, aligning financial insights with broader strategic goals.
● Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication, capable of
translating complex financial data into strategic insights for executive and
non-executive audiences.
● Project Leadership: Proven success in leading projects, managing timelines,
and maintaining high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
● Industry Acumen: Knowledge of industry-specific factors influencing valuations
and growth, with adaptability to various client sectors.
● Relationship Management: Skilled in client management and stakeholder
engagement, with a consultative approach that builds lasting relationships.
