Summary: Our esteemed client is looking for an experienced housekeeper to manage all housekeeping affairs for the ambassador’s residence. The salary range for the suitable candidate is between USD 600 – USD 800 per month + 13th cheque. The ideal candidate should be available to start in September 2021.

Job Description:

Cleaning of the residence and ensuring it is maintained at a high level

Carrying out laundry services

Outsourcing other cleaning services i.e. carpet, sofa, window cleaning

Event management and serving at functions

Printing of menu cards and name stands for functions

Preparing an inventory of supplies

Requesting for replacement or purchase of equipment or gadgets for the residence

Purchasing and replenishing groceries as required

Maintaining an inventory of official cutlery and crockery

Reporting any damages, missing items, torn or stained items and requesting for replacement

Purchasing of staff uniforms

Requesting petty cash for purchases and maintaining an excel spreadsheet of expenses

Compiling invoices and the relevant receipts for submission to accounts

Liaising with the Ambassador’s PA

Skills/ Experience/Competence/ Attributes

Class 4 Driver’s licence

Must have own vehicle that they bring to work to use as required (fuel will be reimbursed for official duties)

Very good command of English

Hospitality/ Travel & Tourism qualifications

Event Management qualifications will be an added advantage

Hospitality experience

Good attention to detail

Basic computer experience in outlook, excel and work

Basic Etiquette and grooming training

Professional, polite and team player

Ability to take initiative as required
