RESEARCH AND BENEFIT ANALYST Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within First Mutual Health Company. The Job Reporting to the Operations Executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • Monitoring, analysing and researching on benefit utilizations trends. • Analysing product plan profitability monthly. • Gathering market information on prices, policy changes and benefits. • Recommending product and benefit reviews. • Analysing claims per disease category and recommending intervention strategy. • Preparing and submitting quarterly reports e.g. hospitalizations, financial information to Association of Health Care Funders of Zimbabwe or Regulators. • Maintaining membership claims statistics for the purpose of key management decisions. • Preparing technical data biannually for actuarial and reinsurance assessments. • Analysing Fund demographic patterns for benefit design and Fund profitability interventions. Qualifications & Experience: The ideal candidate must possess the following: • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related. • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work with multiple reporting systems to extract data.
