PROJECT MANAGER (DEVELOPER: SHOUTWORKS)

Corporate Advisors Canada is a boutique firm, with years of experience in corporate tax planning, corporate financial planning and compliant tax strategies. We work with our clients and their teams on an individual basis to develop bespoke solutions that meet their needs. Corporate Advisors Canada is looking for a tech savvy Project Manager in the Software Development field who is able to develop, manage and lead a Project and understands infrastructure security and business needs.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

Professional qualification in IT/ Computer Science

Portfolio of past Software Development Projects

Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in Software Development

Extensive experience in Agile Software Development and management

Demonstrated ability to setup and manage Github code repository and version controls

Experience with code and infrastructure stress testing methods

Experience in managing a Tech team

Experience in managing scheduled programs

Technology stack:

Alexa Skills / Google Actions architecture

AWS Stack

Node.js

PHP/Laravel/ MySql

Javascript, HTML/CSS

GIT

API architecture

Person Specification:

Skilled negotiator, influential leader

Punctuality to deadlines, clear tech documentation

Sense of responsibility and result oriented approach

Confidence with ability to justify own decision based on facts/budget/terms

Patience and empathy

Ability to work Remotely with minimum supervision

Excellent communication skills

Ability to run a full stress test on the architecture we build

Ability to lead and work in a distributed team

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle

Code review and testing

Coordinate between dev team, design team, business development team and marketing

Review, test and debug team members’ code

Design database architecture

Schedule product releases with internal teams

Document development phases

Work with the Human Resources Manager to recruit the best talent in your department

Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects

Create tech specs and project roadmaps and timelines

Manage communications with all stakeholders, daily standup meetings with dev team, weekly progress meetings with required stakeholders

Define key metrics for team along with project timelines and core features

Other Requirements:

• This job is a Remote job and has a flexible time schedule. However, you will be required to be available in the evenings for Remote meetings with our team in Canada and the USA. A stable internet connection and reliable laptop are prerequisites.
