Job Summary Zimbabwe Power Company is in the process of implementing expansion projects as well as exploring ways of improving production efficiency on current installed capacity. ZPC would like to commence the process of improving productivity and generation through an improvement in coal supply and quality. The company is thus inviting suitably qualified and motivated persons for the following consultant positions on a fixed-term contract at the senior level. Duties And Responsibilities KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Assesses Current operational status of coal and ash handling systems. • Assists in identification of key mobile equipment for the plant. • Develop project brief for coke oven gas requirements for stages I and II. • Liaise with project personnel for interfacing coal handling plants for existing and new plants. Qualifications And Experience QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • A University Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. • Knowledge of thermal power generation processes. • At least 12 years with 6 years at senior management experience in Thermal Power Plants. • Must be able to interpret contract documents, specifications, and quality standards.
