Our client in the financial sector seeks to hire an appropriately qualified, experienced and competent Chief Executive Officer in order to drive the company strategy.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for giving the proper strategic direction and implement the organisations strategy
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of business strategy
- Oversee overall strategy execution
- Oversee organisations investment decisions
- Ensure adherence to legal guidelines
- Maintain and cultivate key partnership
- Key stakeholder engagement
- Ensure company growth and profitability
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as CEO or at least five years’ experience at a senior management level position: economics, law, accounting, finance, banking and insurance
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
- An entrepreneurial mind-set with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Expertise in money markets and stock markets
- A degree in Accounting, Economics or equivalent from reputable institute of higher learning
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Equivalent
- Must be a member of a professional body in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Insurance or Investments
