The job involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles for overseas customers, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems, through physical work like dismantling parts, replacing components, performing tune-ups, and using diagnostic computer software, all while ensuring safety and roadworthiness. Key duties include fault-finding, routine servicing (oil changes, lubrication), repairs, testing, and keeping detailed service records, requiring strong problem-solving, and technical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose Issues: Identify problems in engines, electronics, and other mechanical systems using computer diagnostics and hands-on checks.
• Perform Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing like oil changes, fluid checks, and tune-ups.
• Repair & Replace: Dismantle, repair, or replace worn or broken parts (engines, brakes, steering, etc.) and reassemble components.
• Test & Adjust: Conduct test drives and adjustments to ensure parts function correctly after repair.
• Inspect for Roadworthiness: Check vehicles and issue certificates or detail necessary work for safety compliance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and parts used
• Vehicle accessories: Ensure all vehicle accessories are in the car such as jacks, wheel spanner and spare wheel etc.
• Any other duties: as directed by the Supervisor or Management

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with more than 5 Years experience with current drivers licence.
• Experince with computers will be an advantage
• Patient, flexible and understanding.
• Supportive and caring for customers.
• Commitment to the rights of the customers.
• Accountable & able to accept responsibility.
• Good communication & listening skills (written & verbal).
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
