The Methodist Development Relief Agency (MeDRA), a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a Private Voluntary Organization (PVO), is an integral arm of the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe. MeDRA's mission is to empower communities, improve livelihoods, and foster justice through sustainable interventions that reflect God's love.
-Develop monthly Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) work plans in collaboration with the Project Officer and Communications, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer.
-Lead the implementation of effective complaints and response systems, along with information provision systems, in collaboration with field-level operational staff and district stakeholders.
-Ensure accurate data collection, monitoring, reporting, and efficient management of the evaluation process.
-Monitor project implementation and program progress using qualitative, quantitative, and participatory approaches in data collection from stakeholders.
-Conduct ongoing technical monitoring and reporting of program activities, ensuring adherence to Core -Humanitarian Standard, SPHERE standards for humanitarian action, and MeDRA Safeguarding policy.
Compile, record, and file field-level data from monitoring tools and accountability systems using relevant computer packages and information management systems.
-Provide field-level training and quality assurance for information required from other stakeholders.
-Assist in data analysis and the preparation of quality reports.
-Prepare informative field reports, identify irregularities, and make relevant recommendations.
-Support the development and maintenance of databases for different projects.
-Assist the team members and project partners in organizing critical learning events to examine issues arising during project implementation.
-Collaborate within a team and build productive working relationships to operationalize Safeguarding, -Accountability, monitoring functions, and systems.

-Minimum of a University degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Demography, or a related field.
-At least two years of relevant experience in providing M&E support for food security, WASH, Sustainable Livelihoods, DRR, Emergency Response, community HIV, and other public health programming.
-Sound practical knowledge in data management and analytics, with experience in various statistical packages (Kobo collect, SPSS, CS-Pro, Epi-Info, and Excel).
-Experience in conducting surveys/assessments and using qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools.
-Ability to collect and document stories of change and Most Significant Change Stories.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with different stakeholders.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing strict deadlines with attention to detail.
-Must possess a clean class 4 driver’s license and be willing to ride a motorbike.
