Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work and a relevant first degree with at least a 2.1-degree classification. Preferred candidates will have relevant doctoral degrees or be progressing towards one. Successful applicants should have teaching experience at the tertiary or university level and the ability to teach a minimum of three (3) of the following modules: Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare, Human Behaviour and the Social Environment, Ethics and Values in Social Work, Introduction to Social Work with Individuals and Families, Introduction to Social Work with Communities, Introduction to Social Work with Groups, Socio-Economic Development, Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Social Work Practice with Individuals and Families, Advanced Social Work Practice with Communities, Social Policy, Management and Administration of Social Welfare Organizations, Integrated Fields of Social Work Practice, Child Protection, Introduction to Field Work, Social Work Case Management Practice, Social Work and Human Security, Social Work Practicum and Seminar, and Psychopathology and Counseling for Generalist Practice.
