JOB SUMMARY
The Human Capital Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative functions of ZIMSEC. The incumbent shall oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff, consult with senior management on strategic planning and serve as a link between an organization’s management and its employees. This position reports directly to Human Capital Director.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
THE INCUMBENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Contributing to the development of policies and procedures
Managing the human resource acquisition process
Managing the Industrial Relations aspect
Counselling of staff
Managing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Payroll management
Performance management
Developing and managing the Human Capital budget
Involved in crafting and Implementation of Human Capital strategy
Managing the records section
Making sure staff and organizational files are well kept and safe
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational Behavior.
A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior or Business Administration.
Professional Diploma in Personnel Management or Labour relations.
At least 5 years working experience at the same level.
MS Excel is a must.
Knowledge of Microsoft packages
Knowledge of the HR Systems
In depth knowledge of the labour law
