Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must be a holder of a Doctoral degree in Hospitality/ Tourism and Culture, a Master’s
degree in Hospitality, or Tourism, and relevant first degree with at least a 2.1 degree classification.
Applicants who can show some progress toward acquiring a relevant doctoral degree may be
considered. Teaching Experience at the Tertiary or University level will be considered. Possession of
a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher and Tertiary Education will be an added advantage. Successful
applicants must be able to teach the following modules: Human Resources Management for Tourism
and Hospitality, Regional and International Tourism, Tourism and Hospitality Law, Cultural and
Heritage Tourism Management, Hotel Management, among others.
