Croco Motors is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Dealer Principal for our Agriquip division. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing visible leadership to our staff, fostering the growth of our Agricultural & Construction equipment business in Zimbabwe, and achieving maximum sales, turnover, and profitability.
-Take accountability for the successful establishment of Agri & Construction franchises in Zimbabwe.
-Oversee day-to-day operations of the Main Business unit and establish projected units in other centers in Zimbabwe.
-Ensure efficient and effective use of the Strategic Business Unit’s (SBU) resources.
-Formulate, implement, and monitor SBU plans & budgets.
-Achieve budgeted monthly and annual unit & KRA targets, including sales, penetration, footprint, productivity, revenue, and profitability.
-Implement, monitor, and control the approved budget for the SBU to ensure optimal resource utilization and compliance with regulatory requirements.
-Analyze and review business unit expenses against budget, providing solutions to address variances.
-Manage all company assets (stocks, cash, debtors, fixed property, and movable assets) at the Unit.
-Maintain good liaison with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, Group stakeholders, and all staff.
-Implement Group credit policy at the business unit.
-Monitor Business Unit performance using key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
-Ensure application of internal controls as documented in the company policies and procedures manual to protect the business from risks.
-Direct and manage staff to ensure they are appropriately trained and motivated, conducting quarterly performance reviews.
-Degree in Commercial, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Engineering, Agri-related fields OR equivalent OR proven management prowess & experience in Agricultural Engineering/sales or related industries.
-Postgraduate degree or diploma in Management, Business, Marketing, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar or related environment, with at least 1 year at a Supervisory Level.
-Driver’s License.
-Strong and practical leader with a strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, and experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
-Well-organized, logical thinker with strong MS Office skills and ability to meet deadlines.
-Ability to maintain and develop relationships, collaborate, and share accountability to drive consistent and seamless delivery.
-Effective, confident communicator with interpersonal flexibility, initiative, innovation, perseverance, and integrity.
