Job Description
The UAT Lead Test Analyst position is based within the PF Operations Team specifically and under the leadership of the UAT Manager wil focus on managing the Testing of Adviser Support Tools consisting of Online Sales Front ends, Adviser Sales Support Tools, Adviser Mobile tools, Adviser Remuneration Front ends as well as the underlying Distribution Channel Remuneration Models.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Manages test scoping, coordination, estimation and delivery for the relevant portfolios;
-Manages the planning, preparation and execution of testing activities within each test level;
-Consolidates reporting results from the test team;
-Monitors progress of testing efforts and taking corrective action where required, including escalating risks and issues as and when required to the UAT Manager and/or other relevant parties
-Assist Test Team to meet delivery timelines, when required
-Develop detailed understanding of Business Environment in relation to Team Testing Scope.
-Estimates Test Effort, Creates Test Approach & Test Plan documents.
-Take part in and performs Quality Gate sessions from SIT-UAT and UAT-PROD.
-Verifies quality of the requirements, including testability, requirement definition, test script and test data development; test execution; conducting test design and test procedure walk-throughs and inspections;
-Oversees test prep and test case creation and reviews for Senior Testers.
-Assist in achieving test outcomes on critical deliveries by contributing to Test Execution activities with Test Team
-Monitors and mentors Test team.
-Collates, monitors and reports on test progress, results and defects across project - results are reported to the Test Manager &/ PM
-Matric. Formal certification in testing &theory techniques(ISTQB/equivalent)4yrs experience as Senior tester and PM

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience :
+ 5 Years Product and Business process experience
Grade 12 Required
Software Testing Certification
3 - 5 years experience as a Software Tester within an SDLC
1 – 2 years experience working as a Software Tester in a Financial Services Environment
1 – 2 years experience using Testing Tools
Exposure to Financial Systems i.e. SAP, Oracle HRMS
Exposure to Test Automation
Agile Experience Advantageous
3 year Tertiary Qualification preferable
