Sinohydro Corporation Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions in Zimbabwe:
3. TURBINE ENGINEER
Position: Turbine Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide technical support for hydroelectric turbine systems.
-Monitor turbine installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
-Review turbine-related engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Support turbine performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
-Identify and assist in resolving mechanical and hydraulic turbine issues.
-Coordinate turbine works with civil, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic engineering teams.
-Assist with maintenance planning and technical inspections.
-Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective measures.
-Prepare technical reports and support project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Turbine Engineering, Hydropower Engineering or a related field.
-Relevant experience with hydroelectric turbines or large-scale rotating machinery.
-Knowledge of turbine installation, operation, testing and maintenance.
-Strong troubleshooting and engineering problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
