We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel Coordinator with strong working knowledge of the travel industry,Proficient with Microsoft Office,Zoom,Google Sheets,Google Dosc,Or related software to join our Travel Team at the earliest possible start date.
We want someone smart, resourceful, diligent, responsible workers who can learn our very typical systems, creative problem solving, proactive persistence , Good math and accounting skills are a plus.
The travel coordinator is a full-time position with Remote work and occasional travel as needed.
1. Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
2. When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits, make all arrangements and reservations as requested.
3. Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate staff.
4. Obtains approval from leadership for travel requests and expenses that exceed established limits.
5. Advises travelers of and assists with any need for specialized travel documents such as visas or passports.
6. Monitors and facilitates the use of company air travel credit cards, frequent flyer programs, and other applicable rewards and loyalty programs.
7. Processes reimbursements for travel expenses and Compile invoices related to travel projects and submitted by the end of each month.
8. Reconcile project expenses with Bank statements.
9. Sourcing, negotiating, securing, and booking suitable entertainment, transports materials and relevant personnel.
10. Logistical oversight: hotel rooms, travel, Pick-up, Drop off field trips and other activities etc.
11. Monitor all correspondence to ensure it meets with EPRI policy and procedures.
12. Update EPRI Index database and maintain other related databases.
13. Create, Manage and back up online Zoom meetings.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate multiple options and identify the best choice to achieve a specified goal.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities, quick learner, and proactive mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of the travel industry.
• Demonstrated responsibility and reliability.

• Proven ability to set priorities, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to accommodate irregular or extended hours.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel for work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Sheets, Google Docs, or similar software.
• Based in the Central Africa Time Zone.
• Availability to work the afternoon shift (2 PM to 11 PM, including a 1-hour break).
• Availability to work from Wednesday to Sunday (off on Monday and Tuesday).
Rate: 6 USD per hour
-Yearly increase after completing performance review
-Performance bonus
