TOUR GUIDE COURSE – JUNE 2026 INTAKE (WITH JOB PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES)
Are you passionate about wildlife, tourism, conservation, and adventure? Enroll in our 6-Month Professional Tour Guide Course** and gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to build a rewarding career in Zimbabwe's tourism and safari industry.
Course Modules:
Students will study the following five core modules:
* Field Guide & Resource Interpretation
* Wildlife Habits and Habitats
* Tourism and Wildlife Law
* General Paper
* Professional Tour Guiding Skills
Training Options:

Applicants must be proficient in both spoken and written English.
Course Fees
-Face-to-Face Training

Online Training
-Registration Fee: USD $15

Fees may be paid in installments.
Practical Training Includes:
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
* Bush and wildlife experiences
* Tour operations and client handling
* Zimbabwean heritage and cultural interpretation
* Travel and field excursions
* Professional guiding techniques
Examinations & Certification:
-Upon completion of training, students will sit for examinations administered by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) in February 2027.
-Examination Fee: USD $250 (payable directly to the ZimParks ZIWC Bank Account in January 2027).
Successful candidates will receive a professional guide licence, enabling them to work with:
* National Parks
* Conservancies
* Safari Companies
* Safari Lodges
* Travel Agencies
* Tourism Operators
Anti-Poaching & Wildlife Security Mentorship
As part of our mentorship programme, students receive Anti-Poaching Training covering:
* Wildlife security
* Tracking techniques
* Search and rescue skills
* Client protection in the field
* Anti-poaching operations
Participants who complete the bush training receive a certificate and can pursue opportunities in wildlife security and conservation management.

Entry Requirements
* Certified copy of National ID or Passport
* Zimbabwean citizen
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
* First Aid Certificate before final examinations (may be obtained during the course)
