-Product design and development; -Designing manufacturing processes; -Assessing product usability and safety; -Assessing products markets; -Assessing products and equipment for reverse engineering feasibility; -Product testing and validation; -Report writing and presenting results to managers and customers; -Assessing and testing usability, environmental impact and safety of a design; -Modifying and retesting designs; -Managing development process including tracking progress and costs; -Research on new materials and process and -Data analysis from tests on prototypes.
Qualifications and Experience
-Applicants should have a degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution; -Minimum experience of 2 years in design engineering.
