4.1 Department of Veterinary Pathobiology
4.1.1 Technologists (Pathology, Parasitology& Bacteriology) (3 Posts)

Duties and Responsibilities

 The successful candidate would be required to undertake diagnostic work, organise student practicals and undertake research investigations.

Qualifications and Experience

 Applicants should be a holder of a degree in Veterinary Technology or Diploma in Medical laboratory technology with specialization in the relevant area or a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (HBMLS) Degree, BSc in Biotechnology, BSc in Biological Sciences, or equivalent from reputable institution recognised by the University of Zimbabwe.
 A minimum of one years’ working experience in a Veterinary or Medical diagnostic or research laboratory environment is essential.
 Relevant experience in the field of Veterinary Science would be a distinct advantage.
 A background of Laboratory Quality Management System implementation would be an added advantage.
