Duties and Responsibilities
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the senior water engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for the following: ➢ Maintenance and repair of water infrastructure. ➢ Leak detection ➢ Water meter management ➢ Water infrastructure monitoring ➢ Water infrastructure maintenance ➢ Record-keeping ➢ Emergency response ➢ Record & data management ➢ Regulatory Compliance
Qualifications and Experience
THE PERSON SPECIFICATION ➢ At least a national diploma in civil engineering or equivalent from a ZimCHE-recognized institution ➢ Registered with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) ➢ 5 ‘O’ Levels including Maths and English ➢ Applicants should have at least three years post registration experience in a similar environment ➢ Clean class 4 driver’s licence.
