About Us: Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Officer to provide technical guidance and support on economic strengthening and livelihoods programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical guidance on economic strengthening and livelihoods programs - Develop and implement economic strengthening and livelihoods strategies and plans - Support the design and implementation of vocational training and entrepreneurship programs - Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, partners, and communities - Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field - At least 3 years of experience in economic strengthening, livelihoods, or a related field - Experience working with youth, HIV, TB, or SRHR programs is an added advantage - Strong knowledge of economic strengthening and livelihoods principles and practices - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
