Deadline: 4 January 2025 Reports to: The Technical Officer/Psychologist Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to create a safe and conducive violent-free environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key & Vulnerable Populations in Zimbabwe. Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for five (5) Technical Assistants who will be providing counseling to the survivors of Gender Based Violence, Sexual Violence, Drug & Substance Abuse, Bullying remotely at a voluntary basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing Counseling services to the survivors of different challenges. - Conducting case management conferencing. - Providing in-depth analysis of data gathered during counseling sessions. - Activity report writing and submission. - Finance requests, program execution, and liquidation in accordance with the organization's finance procedures and timelines. - Reporting within approved timelines. - Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Degree or Diploma in Social Auxiliary Work, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or equivalent. - At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. - CPD Certificate in Counseling, Mental Health or equivalent is an added advantage. - Recent graduates are the most preferred.
