The technical assistants shall assist radio producers and presenters in the following duties;
Ensuring that radio broadcasts are consistent, efficient, and entertaining;Providing creative and technical assistance during radio broadcasts;archiving previous recordings, editing sound, and ensuring recording equipment is in full working order;Conducting regular inspections and perform routine maintenance;Maintaining radio station logs and coordinating with other staff members to ensure that programming is broadcast at scheduled times;Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;Maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools;Providing training to media interns;Performing software updates and upgrades on radio equipment;Monitoring system performance and recommending improvements; andUndertaking any other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.

A National Diploma or Higher National Diploma in telecommunications, radio broadcasting, radio production, media production, or media studies;
A relevant first degree would be an added advantage; andTwo years of experience working for radio is required.
