Firm Foundation is expanding and seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team in the role of an ICT/Computer Science and Commercials Teacher.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Instructing the subject up to “A” Level. -Assessing student performance. -Maintaining accurate classroom records. -Collaborating with parents, fellow teachers, and other professionals. -Updating curriculum and active participation in campus events. -Evaluating and grading students' class work, assignments, and papers. -Supervising projects. -Preparing course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. -Additional research, supervisory, or organizational duties may be assigned based on the expectations of -Firm Foundation.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s or graduate degree with a major in the relevant subjects or completion of an approved teacher training program from a reputable institution. -Post Graduate Diploma in education or a Diploma in Education from a recognized institution. -Proven experience in teaching the Cambridge Syllabus and Exam classes. -Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. -Background in a Christian-based environment. -Ability to demonstrate patience when working with students who may not immediately grasp presented concepts. -Professionalism and effective communication skills.
