Description
The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, department of Metallurgical Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities

-Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
-Mark students' assignments and tests
-Support student research projects
-Participate in community outreach activities
-Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
-Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson

Qualifications and Experience

-At least five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language
BSc/BEng (Hons) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
-Applicants must have a degree classification of at least 2.1
-Applicants should be 30 years old or below
-Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master's Degree within the first year of employment
