Description
The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Mining Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities

-Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
-Mark students' assignments and tests
-Support student research projects
-Participate in community outreach activities
-Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
-Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson

Qualifications and Experience

-At least five (5) Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics, English Language and a Science subject
-First Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent with at least an upper second (2.1) degree classification
Applicants must be 30 years of age or below
-Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master’s Degree within the two (2) years of employment
