The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Mining Engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be -Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials -Mark students' assignments and tests -Support student research projects -Participate in community outreach activities -Contribute to the University's income-generating projects -Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson
Qualifications and Experience
-Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language -Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent -Applicants must have a degree classification of at least 2 -1 and should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying -Applicants should be 30 years old or below -Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master’s Degree within the first year of employment
