TEACHING ASSISTANT (2)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-Assisting lecturers in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions
-Conducting tutorial classes and revision sessions under supervision
-Supporting the grading of assignments, tests, and examinations in accordance with departmental guidelines
-Providing academic support and consultation to students
-Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and learning resources
-Supporting research and departmental academic activities where required
-Performing any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson of Department or designated supervisor

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology or equivalent field from a recognized and reputable institution with a degree classification of at least 2.1.
Candidates must have passed at least five (5)

Ordinary Level subjects, including:
English Language
Mathematics
Science
Preference will be given to candidates with prior academic support experience at tertiary level.
