The Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications that meet business needs with key focus areas below.
Design & Development: Build, test, and deploy efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on business requirements. System Integration: Develop APIs and interfaces for seamless communication between applications and external systems. Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and provide timely production support. Optimization: Enhance application performance, scalability, and security through continuous improvement and refactoring. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
Duties and Responsibilities
Software Development & Delivery -Deliver high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code within agreed timelines. -Implement new features and enhancements aligned with business requirements. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
System Performance & Optimization -Improve application performance and scalability through regular code optimization. -Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Quality Assurance -Perform unit testing and support QA teams during system and user acceptance testing. -Minimize bugs and production defects through proper testing and peer reviews.
Documentation & Compliance -Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for all developed modules. -Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support & Maintenance -Provide timely support for production issues and resolve incidents within SLAs. -Participate in system upgrades, patching, and deployments.
Collaboration & Communication -Work effectively with cross-functional teams including BA, QA, and operations. -Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project review meetings.
Continuous Learning & Innovation -Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements. -Contribute to process automation and innovation initiatives.
