An experienced technical and integration systems analyst with experience in analysing and designing technical systems and applications with an emphasis on optimising and improving systems as part of a modernisation initiative.
The ideal candidate will assist in improving the design of the existing and planned systems and ensure these are adequately documented.
A solid understanding of IT systems analysis, design within a distributed systems architecture involving Saas systems.
-In the context of CGIC systems modernisation;
-Existing systems investigation and documentation.
-Assist with the determination of the new systems solutions and their integration.
-Produce ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams) assisting with better understanding the current application environment and the integration of new solutions.
Analyzing existing systems
Assess the performance and efficiency of current IT systems and processes.
Identifying needs and requirements
Understand business requirements and identify areas where systems can be improved.
Proposing solutions
Propose solutions and enhancements to the applications and their processes.
Developing specifications
Create detailed technical specifications for new or modification of existing systems.
Collaborating with development teams
Work with the systems team/s to design and implement the proposed solutions.
Testing and implementing systems
Help test and implement new systems and ensure they are fit for purpose.
Monitoring and maintaining systems
Monitor the performance of systems and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Documentation
Create documentation for new systems and supporting processes.
Training users
Train users on how to use new or modified systems.

Qualifications
-Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
-5 years of experience in technical and integration systems analysis and design.
-Technical expertise: Solid experience in technical and integration systems analysis with an understanding of cloud, distributed and Saas systems.
-Analytical skills: Ability to analyse requirements and determine suitable solutions.
-Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, consider alternatives and find effective solutions.
-Communication skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
