Responsible for the operation of street sweeping truck to maintain cleanliness in urban areas. This role involves ensuring that streets, sidewalks, and public spaces are free of waste and litter, contributing to the overall visible and hygiene of the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Operation of Equipment: Safely operate and maneuver street sweeping trucks in various urban environments, ensuring effective cleaning performance. -Daily Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and maintenance. -Cleaning Duties: Perform street sweeping operations, including the collection of litter, leaves, and debris from streets and sidewalks. -Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules for street cleaning, adjusting as necessary based on local needs and conditions. -Reporting: Document and report any vehicle malfunctions, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences during operations to the supervisor. -Public Interaction: Interact courteously with the public, providing information about street cleaning schedules and addressing any concerns. -Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including locations cleaned and any issues encountered during operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience: Previous experience as an Operator or in a similar role is preferred Licensing: Valid Class 2 driver's license, Retest, defensive and medical tests Competence: 5 years and above operating a HOWO machine.
