Duties and Responsibilities

Key Highlights:

· Shape and deploy Global Procurement Sustainability Strategies.
· Lead a dynamic team ensuring proactive compliance with laws and company policies.
· Be the face of Global Procurement within Solenis' cross-functional Sustainability Task Force.
· Collaborate with internal and external partners to implement impactful supply chain sustainability programs and activities.
· Lead CO2 reporting and Scope 3 calculations.
· Champion Global Procurement in sustainability audits and certifications (Ecovadis, S&P…).
· Benchmark with leading sustainable procurement organizations to identify and seize improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

· Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related fields, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· A chemical degree is advantageous.
· Min. 7 to 10 years of diverse working experience in international companies in Project Management and Procurement roles.
· Demonstrate experience in team and people management.
· Showcase a strong background in sustainability.
· Possess extensive knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
· Fluent in oral and written English.
· Capable of effectively managing multiple projects concurrently.
· Skilled at thriving in a team environment with diverse cultures.
· Understand global sustainability initiatives, including but not limited to UN Sustainable Development Goals, Science Based Targets, CDP, CSRD, etc.
· Exhibit advanced and demonstrated change management skills, with a keenness for ongoing learning and development.
· Be an advanced user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and possess technological acumen for source-to-pay tools.
· Proficient in reporting tools such as PowerBi or Tableau.
· Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving abilities.
· Excel in business partnering and stakeholder relationship management.
· Stay abreast of regulatory updates and benchmark against leading sustainable organizations.
