Duties and Responsibilities

The key activities to be performed by the Operations Intern are as follows.

Assisting with daily operations and administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and inventory management.
Assist on SAP transactions such as Purchase Orders, Production orders, and Cycle counts.
Ensuring warehouse and operations facilities are clean, safe, and free of excess waste.
Track and compute tobacco waste for the factory.
Track and compute wrapping material (wms) waste for the factory.
Attend and participate in relevant Supply chain meetings.
Drive improvement opportunities for reduction of tobacco and wms waste.
Review daily operations in line with controls in Supply chain to ensure compliance to BAT governance standards.
Track compliance as guided by Global Operating model (GOM )on Manufacturing execution processes i.e. Primary manufacturing department ,Secondary manufacturing department and Warehousing
Benchmark with other BAT operating companies on best practices for reapplication
Ensure compliances with statutory provisions and required documents.

Qualifications and Experience

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

Degree in Engineering / Operations management/ Supply Chain management
Experience in Manufacturing environment will be beneficial
