We are seeking a suitable Student on Attachment who will support the CABS International Payments team in the processing and administration of cross border payment transactions. The role will provide exposure to telegraphic transfer processing, SWIFT messaging operations, and nostro account reconciliation while assisting the team with daily operational activities within the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Assisting in the processing of outgoing and incoming Telegraphic Transfers (TTs). -Supporting SWIFT administrative operations. -Assisting with daily Nostro account reconciliations and investigation of outstanding items. -Supporting the team in resolving payment queries and transaction investigations. -Performing general administrative and operational support within the International Payments unit. -Required Area(s) of Study -Banking and Finance -Accounting -Finance or related financial disciplines
Key Competencies -Basic understanding of banking or financial services operations. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions. -Good numerical and analytical skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. -Good communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team environment. High level of integrity and professionalism.
