Collaborating closely with seasoned professionals, the intern will assist in crafting and executing innovative digital marketing strategies across various platforms while also contributing to the optimization of website content and the management of development projects. NB: The working address is Cranborne, Harare. Candidates living in areas close to this location are more preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, email, and search engines.
• Contribute to the creation and optimization of website content, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices and user experience standards.
• Support in the management of website development projects, from design concepts to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas and solutions for client projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a degree program related to marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL is a requirement.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and web development concepts.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, Adobe Premier Pro, Wondershare Filmora or any such tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Ability to use online design tools, e.g. Canva, Postermywall, Adobe Express, etc
• Ability to work with video or animation software, e.g. Doodly
• Having a laptop is an added advantage
