POST A: STUDENT AFFAIRS CAMPUS COORDINATOR (1 POST, HARARE CAMPUS) – AND – (1 POST, KWEKWE CAMPUS)

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Dean of Student Affairs, the Student Affairs Campus Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the activities and programs of the Division of Student Affairs. The incumbent should display great attention to detail and a sound understanding of operations that promote the growth and well-being of students.

Duties and Responsibilities

Serving as Campus liaison to effectively develop and enhance services that support the growth and needs of students in line with the University’s Vision and Mission, at Student Affairs Campus level.
Assisting in ensuring that Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, processes and systems are adhered to by the Student Affairs Division.
Monitoring compliance with university policies in the day-to-day activities of the divisional sections.
Assisting students with welfare issues that may be affecting their ability to study at the Student Affairs Campus level.
Participating in meetings, committees and communicating information regarding services and/or other pertinent information, as assigned by the Executive Dean of Students.
Assisting in any other administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Dean of Students.

Qualifications and Experience

-A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Psychology, Counselling or a related discipline.
-A Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Psychology, Counselling or a related discipline is an added advantage.
-At least two years of working experience at a University/Tertiary Institution in the Student Affairs Division.
-Proven leadership or involvement in student activities at a university or any tertiary institution.
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
