STAFF DEVELOPMENT FELLOWS (5 POSTS)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be expected to:
(i) Spend time in the Technopreneurship Development Centre undertaking a structured
mentoring programme;
(ii) Conduct and facilitate student peer-based learning sessions;
(iii) Assist in all academic activities of the Centre including research;
(iv) Work closely with staff members (in teaching and other administrative duties) and
prepare for future training in selected areas in Technopreneurship;
(v) Teach undergraduate students after completion of studies;
(vi) Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of
Centre.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have at least a B. Tech (Hons) degree with a degree class of 2.1 or better
in the following areas:
-Financial Engineering;
-Electronic Commerce;
-Forensic Accounting & Auditing;
-Information Security and Assurance;
-Computer Science;
-Chemical Process Systems Engineering;
-Electronic Engineering;
-Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering;
-Polymer Technology Engineering;
-Materials Technology Engineering;
-Biomedical Engineering;
-Biotechnology;
-Food Processing Technology;
-Pharmaceutical Technology;
-Information Technology;
-Software Engineering or equivalent.
The candidates will be expected to enrol for M. Tech degrees in vertically aligned
programmes and in MTech in Strategy and Innovation. Previous applicants need not
