Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following posts:
The duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor are grouped into 5 main categories which are:
(a) Teaching – the incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
(b) University Service and Community engagement– the incumbent should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences and seminars, among others.
(c) Research – the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
(d) Innovations – leading to tangible products and services.
(e) Industrialisation –through commercialisation of products.

FACULTY OF BUSINESS SCIENCES
DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND MARKETING SCIENCES
Post A: STAFF DEVELOPMENT FELLOW (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in teaching, research, student support, academic administration and professional development activities under the supervision and mentorship of a lecturer while pursuing academic and research excellence.

Appointment will be made at the level of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor, depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience, research output, professional standing, and overall academic achievements.

Qualifications and Experience

-BCom/BSc/BTech in Information Systems/Data Science and Informatics/Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence or equivalent with a distinction,
-Graduated within the last 5 (five) years,
-Commitment to continuous learning and professional development is a must.
