Key Result Areas
Reporting to the Digital Platforms Executive, the incumbents will be responsible for the following among others:-
• Produce and manage daily content (text, photos, videos) for all ZBC social media platforms. • Track engagement metrics, compile performance reports, and recommend strategies to improve reach and effectiveness. • Respond promptly to comments and messages to foster an active and engaged online community. • Handle live updates, live-tweeting, and real-time posting during events or broadcasts. • Ensure each platform is utilized effectively, optimizing content for platform-specific algorithms and trends. • Suggest and execute creative social media campaigns aligned with trending topics. • Collaborate with the editor to ensure content consistency and adherence to branding guidelines. Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Diploma or Degree in Journalism or an equivalent qualification from a recognized College or University. A minimum of two years working experience in a similar position. Strong writing, editing, and video creation skills. Proficiency in Metricool, Canva, and Adobe Suite. Ability to multitask and manage real-time updates effectively. Ability to work under minimum supervision.
