Duties and Responsibilities
Key Result Areas
Reporting to the Digital Platforms Executive, the incumbents will be responsible for the following among others:-
• Edit and proofread all social media posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to ZBC’s branding and tone guidelines. • Create posters, infographics, and other graphic content for social media platforms when required. • Ensure all multimedia content (videos, photos, graphics) is optimized for each social media platform. • Collaborate closely with social media producers to maintain consistent branding, style, and quality across all platforms. • Assist with scheduling and publishing posts to streamline the workflow. • Develop and maintain a social media style guide to standardize content presentation.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Diploma or Degree in Journalism or an equivalent qualification from a recognized College or University. A minimum of two years working experience in a similar position. Proficiency in design tools like Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong knowledge of formatting standards for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics for social media.
