Duties and Responsibilities
-Development of laboratory policies, strategies and new test procedures. -Upgrading of laboratory technologies, techniques, skills and protocols whenever required as well as maintain and repair equipment. -Preparation of annual progress of the laboratory and implement laboratory safety and quality control. -Maintaining laboratory inventory and coordinate purchasing of all laboratory supplies and equipment. -Offering technical assistance to students and lecturers in research and innovation work. -Preparation and running of practicals. -Operation of analytical instruments.

Qualifications and Experience
-National Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Technology or an equivalent in the related field. -B-Tech / BSc Honours Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology or an equivalent in the related field. -At least three (3) years of relevant working experience.
