About Us: Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Finance Officer to provide technical leadership and oversight to our financial management activities on a volunteer basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical guidance and support on financial management - Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting - Manage and supervise financial transactions, including payments and receipts - Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures - Collaborate with stakeholders, including auditors, donors, and government agencies - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - At least 3 years of experience in financial management - Experience working with NGOs or non-profit organizations is an added advantage - Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - CPD Qualification in ACCA is an added advantage
