This role focuses on optimizing the organization’s operational efficiency and effectiveness. This involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The incumbent plays a crucial role in improving operations, often by integrating new technologies or services. They analyze business needs, recommend digital solutions, and monitor the performance of new initiatives. They also design and implement new operating models, define key performance indicators, and provide coaching on the transformation program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process improvement
• Examines workflows, identifies bottlenecks, and assesses the efficiency of current operations.
• Develops and implements strategies to optimize workflows, streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
• Documents all operational business processes for all OMZIL Business Units (BU) using standardized BPMN or similar notation.
• Provides training and support to employees on process documentation, new processes and systems.
• Maintains a functional group-wide business process database.
• Develops and maintains up-to-date Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between departments/ BUs for key operational business processes.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to drive the change management initiatives necessary to enhance adoption of new processes and solutions.
• Assists in process automation projects and initiatives by synthesizing business / customer requirements as the interface between solution providers (IT or Vendor), the Process automation team and the client department/BU.
• Develops and rolls out new ways of working to optimize business performance.

Data Analysis
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Uses relevant tools to review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through elimination, enhancement, optimization, automation among other strategies.

Reporting and Communication
• Prepares reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Monitoring and Evaluation
• Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluates the success of implemented transformation and automation initiatives.
• Identifies relevant process performance KPIs and develops systems for monitoring and analysis of process performance KPIs.
• Plans, performs and reports on Process SLA Audits as a tool to measure process efficiency between functions/ BUs.
• Acts as the Risk Champion for the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or a relevant Master's degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in business transformation, process improvement, management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with business process modelling and relevant software applications.
• Experience in financial services and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification are an advantage.
