job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible with managing financial operations within a retail business. He / she will oversee all accounting processes, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

*Oversee all financial reports for the organization
*Ensure the organization is in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
*Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on complex financial matters that may arise
* Have a strong collaboration with auditors and tax professionals for accurate financial assessments.
*Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity

Qualifications and Experience

*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
*Strong experience in financial reporting and retail accounting
*Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
