Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome sector, has exciting and challenging career opportunities within its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Implementation of security systems in line with company policy and procedures.
 Supervision of loss prevention, crime detection and investigation processes.
 Advise on crime trends as well as development and implementation of remedial action plans.
 Attending court cases on behalf of the company.
 Supervision of contracted security service provider.
 Carrying out reviews of security systems and recommending on improvements.
 SHE Management within the Security department.

Qualifications and Experience

 A Diploma in Security Management or Equivalent awarded by a reputable institution.
 Must have served in the national police force (ZRP) and risen to the rank of Inspector as a minimum.
 At least 2 years work experience in the private sector.
 Practical exposure in security operational tactics, crime investigation and court appearances.
 Be of impeccable character with no criminal record.
 Working knowledge of safety management systems, preferably with exposure to the NOSA SHE System.
 Good working knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP.
 Holder of a clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
