Urgently Seeking a Mature and Experienced Business Development Officer to Drive Growth and Innovation
The Role: We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Officer to take charge of our existing portfolio of business projects while simultaneously identifying and developing new, groundbreaking ideas and programs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international business development, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for a mature professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring the successful delivery of ongoing projects. •Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, new markets, and promising business opportunities. •Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to expand our organization's reach and impact. •Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of new business programs and initiatives from inception to completion. •Prepare and present compelling business proposals, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. •Secure funding and investment for new projects through persuasive grant applications, investor pitches, and partnership agreements. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of business development activities with the organization's strategic objectives. •Represent the organization at international conferences, networking events, and trade missions to build our brand and forge new partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience
•A proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of business projects. •Extensive experience in developing and launching new business ideas and programs. •Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. •A strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities. •Mature, self-motivated, and results-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. •Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages will be considered a strong asset.
