Urgently Seeking a Mature and Experienced Business Development Officer to Drive Growth and Innovation
The Role: We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Officer to take charge of our existing portfolio of business projects while simultaneously identifying and developing new, groundbreaking ideas and programs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in international business development, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for a mature professional who can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring the successful delivery of ongoing projects. • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, new markets, and promising business opportunities. • Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to expand our organization's reach and impact. • Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of new business programs and initiatives from inception to completion. • Prepare and present compelling business proposals, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. • Secure funding and investment for new projects through persuasive grant applications, investor pitches, and partnership agreements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of business development activities with the organization's strategic objectives. • Represent the organization at international conferences, networking events, and trade missions to build our brand and forge new partnerships
Qualifications and Experience
• A proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of business projects. • Extensive experience in developing and launching new business ideas and programs. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • A strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities. • Mature, self-motivated, and results-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages will be considered a strong asset.
