Mukuru is on the lookout for a Scheduler to join our team in Zimbabwe.
The main purpose of this role is to organize and manage the tellers’ float to make sure that they do not run out and are not over funded. Reconcile and correctly account for inventory within SMH system. To attend to teller and client queries for resolution/ escalating to relevant departments for prompt assistance.
The Scheduler reports to the Lead Scheduler. This position is responsible for managing the tellers’ float and serves as the point person for teller support, finance team, operational assistance and managing cash provider relations.
Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Are Not Limited To)
Summarizes the movement of cash daily
Identifies and follows up on cash variances
Perform Accounts reconciliations
Provides solutions to all teller queries in line with the standard operating procedure
Forecasts the amount which a teller might use within a day
Actively minimizes CIT costs by ensuring that booths/branches are adequately funded to prevent frequent cash deliveries
Ensures that all locations remain within the insurance limits for trading
Report any suspicious activities to the Lead Scheduler and Security
Provide transaction statements, when required
Serve as the point person for the cash in transit service providers
Assist in order cancellation
Attend monthly KPI discussion with the Lead scheduler
Attend bi-annual monthly performance meeting with lead scheduler
Complete all required compliance training and assignments
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
1 year Experience as a Teller
Knowledge of anti-money laundering
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of exchange control regulations
Knowledge of cash logistics
Knowledge of customer service
