We're seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to streamline teller operations and cash management! Reporting to the Lead Scheduler, you'll be pivotal in managing the tellers' float to prevent shortages or overfunding, reconciling inventory within the SMH system, and addressing teller and client queries. Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Are Not Limited To)
Updating Regional Reconciliations
Summarise the movement of cash daily.
Identify and follow up on cash variances.
Perform accounts reconciliations.
Point Person for the Tellers
Provide solutions to all teller queries in line with the standard operating procedure.
Managing the Teller’s Float
Forecast the amount which a teller might use within a day.
Actively minimise CIT costs by ensuring that booths/branches are adequately funded to prevent frequent cash deliveries.
Ensure that all locations remain within the insurance limits for trading.
Transaction Monitoring
Report any suspicious activities to the Lead Scheduler and Security.
Provide transaction statements, when required.
Serve as the point person for the cash in transit service providers.
Assist in order cancellation.
Manage Own Professional and Self-Development
Attend monthly KPI discussion with the Lead Scheduler.
Attend bi-annual performance meetings with the Lead Scheduler.
Complete all required compliance training and assignments.
Key Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
1 year experience as a Teller
Knowledge of anti-money laundering
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of exchange control regulations
Knowledge of cash logistics
Knowledge of customer service
