RISK & COMPLIANCE MANAGER: GRADE D4
Reporting functionally to the Board and Administratively to the CEO, the Key Job
Functions of this position are as
• Risk Management & Compliance - Develop and implement an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensure business continuity planning, and enforce compliance with Zimbabwe's laws and corporate governance standards.
• Quality Assurance & Operational Efficiency - Establish ISO-compliant quality assurance frameworks, safety and environmental standards, and improve operational efficiency.
• Leadership & Strategic Oversight - Manage the Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance team, align strategies with ZERA's corporate goals, and provide high-level risk reports to the CEO and Board.
• Risk & OHS Audits - Conduct periodic risk and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) audits, review departmental risk registers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Training & Staff Support - Provide training and guidance to staff on Risk and OHS management systems, supporting compliance audits.
• SOP & Reporting - Review risk management SOPs and compile quarterly risk reports.
• Compliance - Ensure that ZERA adhere to all relevant energy sector laws, regulations and policies

The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
• A Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Legal, Accounting or Finance.
• A relevant Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
• 5-7 years' experience in a Senior Risk Management or Compliance role, with a proven track record of implementing risk management frameworks and driving compliance in large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards in Zimbabwe.
• Experience in ISO quality assurance frameworks and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Proficiency in risk management tools and software.
